Imagine Your Event on Bainbridge Waterfront
About The Boathouse
Best known locally as The Boathouse, the Stan Pocock Rowing Center in Waterfront Park is home to Bainbridge Island Rowing and host to island institutions including the 4th of July, Bainbridge Island Book Festival, and Oktoberfest. The Boathouse offers the convenience of a centrally located modern venue with a generous dose of local history and community goodwill.
Built by volunteers, donors, and generations of rowers, this space reflects the belief that everyone should have the opportunity to experience the water — whether through rowing, gathering, or simply being part of something bigger. Today, The Boathouse serves as both a working rowing center and a welcoming venue for celebrations, meetings, and community events, keeping the harbor active and connected for all.
